From SIMION

SL Tools (sltools.exe) is a component of the SIMION SL Toolkit and is intended for viewing and manipulating PA files. Conversions include importing/exporting PAs to/from CAD (STL), bitmap, and ASCII text formats. Portions of this utility (e.g. 3D OpenGL viewing of PAs and STL conversion) are being incorporated into SIMION 8.
